March Madness -- These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

March is over and so it is time to reveal my favorite things from this month!

Cosmetic Lad // Lush // 23.95 for 1.5 oz

Top of the list this month isn't new for me but I developed a new appreciation for it after I switched things up and tried a moisturizer set from Boots No7 line.  My skin was drying out and my blushes and powders were catching on flakes of skin on my cheeks.  Not a great look.  I fell back on ol' reliable, Lush's Cosmetic Lad, and of course it fixed me right up.
Cosmetic Lad is thus named because it was originally formulated for men to apply after shaving their face.  It is a miracle in a pot: it clears up my eczema, keeps my skin soft and smooth, prevents my breakouts, goes from summer to winter (I just apply it a little more heavily in the winter), soothes razor burn and supposedly can be used as hair gel and shaving cream though I haven't used it for those.  Plus it has a light scent that is reminiscent of orange Creamsicles.  Mmmmmmm.

Savory Minis in Southwest Style // Plum // 4.49 per box only at Target

These appetizers are marketed for kids but they are DELICIOUS.  I haven't tried the other flavors because they all have meat and I just can't do frozen meats, but there is also cheese and chicken and cheese and sausage versions.  They only need 1 minute in the microwave to heat 5 bite-size rolls and somehow they have perfected the formula that keeps the bread soft and doughy!  A box of 10 is plenty to fill me up at lunch.  My only complaint is they are a little pricey, but they are organic and GMO free.

3-Wick Candle in Butterscotch Toffee // White Barn // seasonal

This is a seasonal candle available at Bath & Body Works at Christmas.  Hopefully it will be back for the 2015 holiday season because I LOVE IT.  It smells so creamy and sweet.  White Barn/B&BW candles are long lasting and leave your home smelling wonderful long after you've burned it.

Hautelook

I have bought sooooooooo many things on Hautelook this month.  They are a division of Nordstrom Rack and are thus basically Nordstrom's Clearance Section's clearance section.  Almost everything can be returned to Nordstrom Rack, and since I have one just up the road, I wasted no time gobbling up the amazing deals.  I have a lot of things to return that just didn't fit but here's the deals I've kept so far:
7 pair of cultured freshwater pearl earrings in various colors from Nordstrom (originally $109.00)
Lace Slip from Bethenny Frankel's "Skinnygirl" line $34.97 (originally $68.00)
Palazzo Pants in black from American Twist for $19.97 (originally $98.00)
Ojai Valley Flip Flops in Cognac fro O'Neill $12.97 (originally $26.00)
Sarah Bootcut Jeans in foam from NYDJ $34.97 (originally $104.00)
Camila adjustable bikini brief in multicolor $19.97 (originally $74.00)
Felicity Fleece Tech Gloves from ASICS for 14.95 (originally $25.00)
Intimates set from BCBG for $25.94 (originally $51.00)

Vitality Lip Flush 4-in-1 Reviver Lipstick Stain // IT Cosmetics // $20.00 each

I LOVE these lipsticks!  I was lucky enough to get an email from IT Cosmetics alerting me to a special after-Christmas sale and got all six lipsticks for $28!!!  I really didn't think I'd be able to use the darkest shade and didn't think I would like the lightest shade but they are all really really beautiful.  I'll do a full review on them later but suffice to say the color lasts forever and they are so creamy and because they change to adjust to your skin, after trying them all I think that everyone can probably wear all of the colors.

Those are my top picks from March, can't wait to see what April holds!  If you want more than just weekly posts, be sure to follow me on social media!
