Enter: MOO! (my best guess is the acronym came from the founders last names)
In addition to the expected traditional business cards (which are anything but "traditional" but I'll get to that), there's also mini cards, Facebook cards, postcards, and stickers or labels. What?! With so many options, I had to try out more than one!
Free Customizable Sample Cards (10)

Mom: This is a QR code ;) |
I started out by making my free customizable sample cards (which include free shipping). I slapped my go-to picture of me jumping on the rocks in Australia onto the back of the card, and my information on the front. They print in full color on both sides so I was able to use my recognizable blue and pink combo for the writing.
For a twist I used a QR code generator and used that as my additional image. MOO also let me choose to print the cards on recycled paper. Yay for being green!
I'd show you a picture but I honestly have no idea where those cards even are right now! Why? Because I fell in love with....
Facebook cards!
Log in to either your personal Facebook or your page's Facebook and MOO will import your cover photos and profile pictures for a variety of different cards. It also snatches your web address, phone number, email, and a quote but those are can all be edited so if you want a different quote or prefer not to give people your phone number (I changed mine to my free TextPlus number).
MOO also has this incredibly nice feature called Printfinity where you can get multiple different card designs for the same price as all of the cards being the same. I went with my three favorite pictures.
Love! |
For a limited time you can get FIFTY Facebook cards for FREE! You do have to pay shipping, but it's worth it: the cards are very high quality. Though I didn't see an option to use green paper, the box they came in said that the cards are printed on paper "sourced from sustainable forests. " I would say the photos look better printed on this paper than the "green" paper.
Photo and Logo Stickers...in a convenient sticker book!
The stickers will be great to take with me to Europe because they take up sooooooo much less space and can easily be stuck to anything the other person has on them. So much faster than writing my website down for people, and it's actually legible, unlike my handwriting...
The stickers are glossy so they look more professional than something you run off your own printer at home, and their stickiness actually surprised me: they're no good on skin (yes, I stuck one on myself) but after being pulled off fabric and my hand multiple times they still stuck well to paper.
As I've already shown, this service is no longer just for traveling business men, anyone can put these cards and stickers to good use. Here's some suggestions from their website:
- Wedding invitations as customized post cards
- Use stickers on envelopes of thank you cards or invitations for that extra flair
- Combine stickers with large push pins or magnets for a unique souvenir or customized office supplies
- Use minicards to make up professional-looking tickets to your next event
- Use Printfinity and postcards to set up a portable portfolio of your photography or modeling career
- Place stickers on goods you are selling to remind people where they got it
- Utilize Printfinity to make playing cards or trivia cards for your own personalized game
- Mini-cards can be handed out when your kids visit a friend so their parents have your number
- Personalized gift labels, bookmarks, or packaging
