PROS: The last time I used a gel was in junior high or high school and I hated how long it took to dry but that is not a problem here. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly.
You don't need much and it protects you for a long time. I threw some on before boarding my flight to India (26 hours travel time) and still felt perfectly fresh when I reached the hotel. My normal anti-perspirant (Dove) would not do that, despite also marketing itself as a 48 hour choice.
This has a pleasant scent that doesn't smell like antiperspirant, but like a perfume. I really like it. Now and then I catch a whiff of it and I'm like "Ooooh, where is that coming from? Oh. My pits!"
CONS: What I don't like is that it burns like the dickens after shaving and that it seems to be drying out my underarms. I usually use Dove's antiperspirant and it has a quarter cup of lotion which keeps my underarms very smooth. I think it's probably the alcohol content in the Secret Outlast, which is necessary to keep it a gel. It's unfortunate because you should really alternate products like deodorant so your body doesn't develop a tolerance, and if this wasn't so damaging to my sensitive skin I would definitely buy another one.
RESULT: I will finish the sample but will not buy another one. If I see a "sensitive skin" one advertised in the future, I may give it another chance.
UPDATE -- 2/21/15 -- I have actually bought this again. I switch it out with my Dove now and then to make sure it doesn't dry me out too badly. You just can't beat the staying power.
