Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea

I was quite delighted to see a sample of tea in my Frosty VoxBox from Influenster this season.  Even more excited to find there were two tea bags inside the packet!  Woo hoo!  Lucky for me there wasn't any camomile or echinacea among the ingredients so I could participate in the taste test!

I have a tea pot that tells me when the water is the right temperature for the type of tea I am making, so I didn't have to rely on the packet's directions of using "almost boiling water."  Green tea is fragile and needs much lower temperatures than that or it will taste off!

I added a little sugar because I generally like my tea sweet, but actually found that I prefer the Candy Can Lane without any sugar at all!  This made me super excited because I had been wanting a tea that I could enjoy sugarless.

The mint is light but sweet on it's own, so you don't need to add anything.  It makes me think of bed time, probably because I use mint toothpaste, so I'm glad it's decaf!

My only regret now is that it is only available at Christmas!
