Obsessed.
I realized today that although I had posted all over Twitter and Instagram and the rest of the internet how much I loved my hair brush, I hadn't written a blog about it! So here it is:
Yeah. I LOVE it. |
I've spent the last 14 years refusing to brush my hair unless I was about to step into a shower because inevitably my hair would become frizzy, dull, or -- even worse -- the dreaded "triangle head" ala Roseanne Roseannadanna.
A tamed version of "triangle head" circa 1998. |
Because of this, I wasn't super enthused about a new hair brush but my old one had seen better days so whatev, it was worth a try. But as soon as I dragged this new glory-be brush through my locks I knew I was in love. There was no snagging in my curls or scraping across my scalp. In fact it was like a little mini scalp massage. One could argue I wasn't used to this because I had allowed all the little plastic tips on my old brush to wear down, but it was more than that. I mean look at this set up:
Each little plastic bristle is surrounded by smaller, smoothing bristles! It's like a million litle fingers running through my hair.
Also: those gaps in the brush are to help air from your blow dryer get to more hair, decreasing drying time by 20%. That decreases the amount of heat damage for those of you who use a hair dryer. I can't. Talk about triangle head! Sheesh.
As you can see, I have spread my love far and wide.
As you can also see, this brush is only $10.99!!!!! Not only eco friendly, but wallet friendly too! That is a rare combo indeed.
I'm holding out to see if I win the makeup brushes for participating in the Frosty VoxBox campaign but if I don't, I'll surely be buying those next!
